Our Method of Protecting our Wild Landscapes
We watchdog public
lands for misuse, monitoring timber sales, grazing and
mining permits, and oil and gas leases. We work to
prevent abuses through strategic appeals and litigation.
Manzano Mountains, Cibola Forest
A coalition of homeowners and environmental groups in
the Tajique area has
asked the Forest Service to consider an alternative
proposal to restore forests in the Manzano Mountains
that would not require logging and road building.
